Question:

How do I delete content from my TV's content library?

Answer:

 Your TV has approximately 200mb of internal storage space for use with the content library.

There is no way to increase this internal memory size.

If you would like to add new content to your content library you may need to delete some content to free some storage space on the internal memory.

To delete content follow these steps:

1. Open the content library.

2. Use the (left) or (right) arrow and select the "Content Management" section, and then press ENTER. [The Content Management sub menu will open]



Tip: After entering the "Content Management" section you can see how much free space you have left on you TVs internal memory by looking at the bar in the lower left of the screen.

3. Use the (Up) or (down) arrow button and select the "My Contents" section, and then Press ENTER. [The selection box will move over to the list on the left side of the screen]

4. Use the (Up) or (down) arrow to select the section with the content you would like to delete, and then press ENTER. In this guide we will show you how to delete a gallery selection but the processes is the same for all content.

5. A list of content will populate.  Press the (Up) or (down) arrow to highlight the content you would like to delete, and then press the ENTER button. [A popup sub menu will appear]



Tip: If you would like to delete multiple pieces of content you can select all the ones you would like to delete and then delete all selected items. Highlight the content you would like to delete then press the YELLOW button on your remote and it will have a check mark next to it. Repeat this for all content you would like to delete, and then press the ENTER button.

6. Use the (Up) or (down) arrow button to select "Delete" from the popup menu, and then press ENTER. [A "Delete File" message prompt will appear on the screen]



Note: If you have made mutiple selections you will have the option to "Delete Selected".

7. Use the (left) or (right) arrow button to select "OK", and then press ENTER. [A progress bar will appear on the screen]

8. After the files is deleted a Notification appears confirming the deletion. Press ENTER to close the window. [Your selected content is now deleted]



 

Note: To delete multiple pieces of content, highlight the first item, press the yellow button on your remote to select it, repeat for additional items, then press enter to access the "Delete Selected" option.
