Sound select is a feature that is used for the Picture-in-Picture(PIP).

If you are using PIP and want to hear the audio from the secondary picture, you would go into the sound menu and adjust the "Sound Select" options.

Note:

If the menu option is grayed, PIP must be turned on to use this feature.

In certain models, this option is located under the Tools menu under PIP.
