Glasses Not Working
If
the 3D glasses are not functioning properly, follow these steps to determine
if the problem is related the glasses or the TV:
(1)
First,
try to use another pair of 3D glasses with the TV.
- If
another pair of 3D glasses works properly, then the original pair of
glasses are defective and must be serviced.
- If
you do not have another pair of glasses, or the other pair of glasses
does not function properly either, continue on to the next step.
(2)
Activate
the 3D function on your TV by pressing the 3D button on your remote.
You
can tell the 3D function of the TV is activated properly when the screen
appears slightly blurry without glasses.
(3)
Use
a digital camera or camera phone to view the bottom left area of the TV.
If the TV's emitter is working properly, you will see a flashing light through
the screen of the camera.
- If
you see the flashing light, then the glasses are defective and will
require service.
- If
you do not see the flashing light, then the TV's emitter is not functioning
properly and it wil require service.
