Subject:  MPEG Filter

The MPEG Noise Filter option will help eliminate any excess digital noise in a picture and help to reduce any flicker caused by this.

This option is intended for digital video signals.

There are five options for setting MPEG Noise Filter:

  1. Off: Turns the MPEG Noise Filter off.
  2. Low: Sets the MPEG Noise Filter for low.
  3. Medium: Sets the MPEG Noise Filter to medium.
  4. High: Sets the MPEG Noise Filter to high.
  5. Auto: The MPEG Noise Filter will automatically switch between High to Off depending on the incoming signal.

Follow the steps below to set your size.

  1. With your television powered on press the MENU button.
  1. The Picture section of the Main Menu will be selected by default, if not use the up arrow or down arrow button to select the Picture section, and then press ENTER.
  1. Use the up arrow or down arrow button to select Picture Options in the menu, and then press ENTER.
  2. In the Picture Options menu use the up arrow or down arrow button to select the MPEG Noise Filter option, and then press ENTER.
  1. The drop down menu will appear, use the up arrow or down arrow button to select your desired setting, and then press ENTER.
  1. Press the EXIT button to exit the Menu.
