The Film
Mode option will help provide a smooth frame transition when watching 480i
content that is being corrected using 3:2 pull down.
What this means is
if you are watching a movie in a 480i resolution this feature can help smooth
out the frame transition eliminating any picture stutter or judder.
The film
mode option is only available with a 480i signal otherwise it will be grayed
out.
There are three settings for film mode.
- Off:
Disables
the Film Mode enhancement feature.
- Auto
1:
This
is the optimum setting for a full screen video playback.
- Auto
2:
This is the optimum setting for a partial screen or video with text playback.
Follow the steps below to set your Film
Mode option.
- With your television powered on press the MENU button.

- The Picture section of the Main Menu will be selected by default,
if not use the up or down arrow button to select the Picture section, and then
press ENTER.

- Use the up or down arrow button to select Picture Options
in the menu, and then press ENTER.
- In the Picture Options menu use the up or down arrow button to select the Film
Mode option,
and then press ENTER.

- The
drop down menu will appear, use the up or down arrow button to select
your desired setting, and then press ENTER.

- Press the EXIT button to exit the Menu.
