Question:

Why doesn't the melody play when turning off the TV?

Answer:

The Melody Plays When The TV Is Turned On, But Not When Turned Off

The Melody does not play when you turn the TV off for one of the following reasons:

  • The Internal Mute is turned on
  • The Volume is turned all of the way down or muted.

To determine which troubleshooting path to take, turn the TV on, and then press [Volume +] on the TV remote. You will see either:

  • A "Not Available" message on the TV screen.
  • The Volume Circle on the TV screen.

Instructions for each scenario are below. Review the description that matches your situation.
