If
the audio is in sync on other channels, there might be a broadcasting
issue with the original channel or program.
If
the audio is not in sync on other channels, test low range and high
range channels.
If
the audio is out of sync on all other channels, there could be an equipment
or cabling problem.
Cable
subscribers should proceed to Step 2, while satellite subscribers should
skip to Step 3.
After
the TV has memorized channels, test several channels to check for audio
sync issues.
If
there's no audio sync issue, the cable box or cables may be defective;
try replacing them.
If
the issue persists, there could be an issue with the broadcast signal
or the TV. Proceed to Step 4.
Connect
a secondary device (e.g., DVD player, game console) to the input connection
used for the set top or satellite box.
If
the audio is in sync, replace the cables and/or box. If the issue continues,
contact your service provider.
If
the audio is out of sync on the secondary device, the TV requires service.
Create an online service request to begin the process.
