Question:

How to adjust Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) settings on my TV to improve picture quality?

Answer:

The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces the noise on incoming signals caused by weak signal, strong signal, electromagnetic interference, and other video interference. Reducing this noise will reduce the amount of flickering in the picture. Sometimes this feature needs to be adjusted to get the best possible picture. To adjust this feature follow the steps bellow:

  1. With your TV powered on press the MENU button to open the main menu.
  2. With the Picture menu selected press ENTER.
  3. Note: In the menu the section names are displayed on the left side and side ways.

  1. Use the ▲ or ▼ arrow to select the Picture Options, then press ENTER.
  2. Use the ▲ or ▼ arrow to select the "Digital NR" option, then press ENTER.
  3. Use the ▲ or ▼ arrow to select the new DNR setting (Off, Low, Med, High, Auto), then press ENTER.
  4. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
