- Connect another device to the same input on your TV with the same connection cables.
For example: If you have connected a cable box using the Component connections,
try connecting a DVD player to the same input with the same cables. Then,
test the device. If there is no buzzing, crackling, or humming with the second device attached, the
TV is not the cause of the problem instead, the original device (in our example the
cable box) is the source of the noise.
If you still hear
buzzing, crackling, or humming continue to Step Four by clicking on "Step
Four" below.
