The Rolling Line Appears On The A/V (Composite) Input

Question:

What should I do if I see a rolling line on the composite (yellow) input?

Answer:

Try the following steps:

Ensure the device connected to the composite connection is not set to progressive scan output. If it is, turn off progressive scan.

Replace the composite cable with a new one.

If steps 1 and 2 do not work, the device may have an internal grounding issue. Test it on another TV. If the rolling line still appears, contact the device's manufacturer for further help.
