The Rolling Line Appears On The Component Video Input

Question:

Why am I seeing a rolling line on my TV screen when using component video input? What should I do?

Answer:

Check if other devices (e.g., DVD players, microwaves, air conditioners) are causing interference - turn them off.

Try replacing your component cables with new ones.

If issues persist, the connected device might have an internal grounding problem or be defective - test it on another TV. Contact the manufacturer for support if the issue remains.

If the rolling line still appears, your TV needs servicing. Create an online service request to start the process.

Technical Terms:

Component Video Input: A type of connection used to transmit video signals separately (R, G, B).
