Connecting RF And Using The Fine Tune Option

To connect your TV to a SD box with an RF cable and use the Fine Tune option, follow these steps:

  1. Connect one end of the first coax (RF) cable to the cable or satellite jack on your wall.
  2. Connect the other end of the first coax (RF) cable to the CABLE IN or SATELLITE IN on your SD box.
  3. Connect one end of the second coax (RF) cable to the OUT on you SD box.
  1. Connect the other end of the second coax (RF) cable to ANT IN on the TV if you have a satellite box or CABLE IN if you have a cable box (as illustrated below).
  1. Turn your TV on, and (using the Samsung TV remote control) press TV once and the TV displays the coax (RF) source.
  2. Using the TVs remote, set the TV to the RF Output Channel designated by your satellite or cable company. In most areas of the country the RF channel is either channel 3 or channel 4.
  3. To fine tune the signal press MENU on your remote.
  4. Use the ▲ or ▼ to select the Channel portion of the menu, then press ENTER.
  5. Note: In the menu the section names are displayed on the left side and side ways.

  1. Use the ▲ or ▼ to select the "Fine Tune" option, then press ENTER.
  2. The Fine Tune menu will appear. Use the ◀ or ▶ arrow to adjust the fine tuning of the station. When you are finished press ENTER to save your adjustments.
  3. Press EXIT to exit the menu.
