Question:

How can I improve my picture quality when using an SD (Standard Definition) box?

Answer:

There are two methods you may try to enhance your picture quality when using a Standard Definition (SD) box:

Utilize a composite cable connection between the box and the television.

Employ an RF coaxial cable connection between the box and the television, then fine-tune its settings.

Please note that SD boxes cannot produce the same picture quality your TV is capable of displaying. It is highly recommended by Samsung to upgrade to a High Definition (HD) box for better performance.

Terms:

Composite Cable Connection - A type of video cable that carries audio and visual signals through three separate wires (red, white, yellow).

Fine Tune - Adjusting the settings on your device to optimize the picture quality.
