3D Glasses related issues

 If the glasses will not turn on, they may need to be recharged or have the batteries replaced.

 

  • If the image still does not appear correctly in 3D with the glasses turned on, the customer may need to choose a different  3D mode, based on the incoming 3D signal from the external device.
  •  
  • To troubleshoot the 3D Active Glasses, first determine the model number of the glasses.
    To verify the model number:
    Battery operated glasses have the model and SN on the battery compartment door.

    Rechargeable glasses had the model and SN on the insides of the glasses adjacent to the hinge.

    Use the following steps to resolve any issue with the 3D glasses operating:
    Press the power button of the glasses to see how often the LED blinks.
    If the LED blinks once the battery is working properly.

    If the LED blinks continuously then the battery has died replace or recharge the battery to resolve the issue.

    Make sure the glasses are within range of the TV.
    Make sure that there are no obstructions between the emitter on the TV and the Glasses.

    Check that the 3D Emitter is working.
    To check if the Emitter is working use a digital camera.

    The viewfinder of a camera will display if the emitter of the TV is outputting a signal

    Check that the 3D feature on the TV is working.
    Enable the 3D Feature from the menu or the remote control.

    Make sure the 3D Mode is set to the correct mode.
