PROBLEM:
Light Flickers or Stays Off
SOLUTION:
Replace the Light Bulb
Items needed:
Philips-head screwdriver
30 watt E17 refrigerator light bulb
15 watt E17 freezer light bulb
Steps for replacing the refrigerator light
bulb:
Unplug the refrigerator or turn off power
at the circuit breaker.
Locate the lamp cover and remove it by
unscrewing the Philips-head screw (counterclockwise).
Carefully remove the hot light bulb (counterclockwise).
Install the new light bulb (clockwise).
Replace the lamp cover and secure it with
the Philips-head screw (clockwise).
Steps for replacing the freezer light bulb:
Unplug the refrigerator or turn off power
at the circuit breaker.
Locate the lamp cover and release it by
pressing the tab underneath and pulling slightly forward.
Open and remove the ice maker's door.
Lift and pull the lamp cover upward.
Carefully remove the hot light bulb (counterclockwise).
Install the new light bulb (clockwise).
Reinstall the lamp cover and ice maker's
door.
