• Desired external device setup and connected to TV.

• Model number of Home Theater.

Setup

1. To start setup of the Universal Remote press the SOURCE button.

2. Use the navigation pad to select Universal Remote Setup in the top right of the source menu.

3. The On-screen setup will appear. Select Start to begin the the setup.



Note: A screen will appear asking you to verify that there are no obstacles between the remote and the device you want to control.

4. Use the navigation pad to select Home Theater System.

5. Select the brand of your Home Theater.

Note: If your brand is not available press RETURN to exit the universal setup.

Universal setup is not available with your brand of Home Theater at this time.

Future updates may add functionality with your brand.

6. Select your Home Theater connection.

8. Test the remote control commands. Click on Function Test: Power.
• If the Home Theater turns off continue to Step 9 in this guide.



• If the Home Theater does not turn off select No to test the next code. Repeat Step 8.
• If all the codes have been tried select the manual search option that displays.

9. Your setup is now complete. You will have a few options to finish your setup.
• Finish: Exits the Universal Remote Setup
• New Setup: Begins from the beginning to add another device to the universal control. Return to Step 3 on the previous page.
