Question:
What
should I do if my TV displays "Locked" when I press buttons and doesn't
respond?
Answer:
If
your TV shows a "Locked" message and does not respond to button presses,
first take a photo of the message and send it to casvc15@samsung.com or fax
it to 1-800-878-4754. This issue is likely caused by a signal from your Set-Top-Box
(STB), which controls your TV channels. After sending the photo, try the following
steps:
Keep
the TV on and unplug it from the wall outlet.
Wait
for 30 seconds, then plug the TV back in and check if the issue is fixed.
If
the problem is solved, congratulations! You're done troubleshooting.
If
the problem persists, move on to Step 3.
Unplug
your Set-Top-Box (STB) for 30 seconds.
Plug
the STB back in and check if the issue is fixed.
If
the problem is solved, great news! You're finished troubleshooting.
If
the problem still isn't fixed, contact your STB provider for further assistance.
