Question:

How to resolve WIFI connection issue when entering a password containing special characters on my Samsung Smart TV?

Answer:

To fix this issue, follow these steps:

Check your Wi-Fi network type: Ensure your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, as some Samsung models (UNNU7100/UNNU710D, UNNU7200, and UNNU7300/UN**NU730D) only work with 2.4 GHz networks.

Password format: When entering the Wi-Fi password, avoid using special characters like !, $, &, etc. Use only alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers).

Reconnect to the network: After changing the password, try connecting to the network again.

Change network: If the issue persists, select 'Change Network' on your TV.

Connect to the same Wi-Fi network: Finally, select the same Wi-Fi network to reconnect.

Note: Some Samsung TVs may have limitations when handling passwords with special characters. For best results, stick to alphanumeric characters in your Wi-Fi password.
