Question:
How to fix HDMI 4 not working on Q85RA, Q90RA,
and Q900RB Series TVs?
Answer:
To resolve the issue of HDMI 4 not working
on your Q85RA, Q90RA, or Q900RB Series TV, follow these steps:
Ensure your TV's firmware is up to date. Download
the latest firmware from Samsung.com and update your TV using Over The Network
(OTN) or via USB. Choose the correct region and firmware version for your TV:
Region |
Firmware |
Version |
ATSC |
T-MSMAKUC |
1065.0 |
DVB |
T-MSMDEUC |
1065.0 |
ISDB |
T-MSMUABC |
1065.0 |
After updating the firmware, the TV will turn
off and on automatically. Once this is done, manually turn off and on your TV
again to update the sub-micom.
Verify that the sub-micom is now on version
6012 by checking the "About This TV" menu. It should display T-MMOCJP-6012.
