Level the Dishwasher

PROBLEM :

Level The Dishwasher

SOLUTION :

Your dishwasher will not perform correctly if it's unbalanced. To level the dishwasher, please perform the following:

1. Open the door, and then check if it's level from left to right by placing a carpenter's level against the interior ceiling of the tub.

  • If you don't have a carpenter's level, you can purchase one from a local retailer or download a leveling app from Google Play Store or the App Store.

2. If the dishwasher is not level, adjust the front legs of the dishwasher until it's level.

3. Rotate the front legs
counterclockwise to raise that corner of the dishwasher, or clockwise to lower it.

4. Use the level against the side of the tub to check if the dishwasher is leveled from front to back (see image below for example).

5. If the dishwasher is not level front to back, adjust the height of the rear legs until the dishwasher is level.

6. To adjust the height of the rear leg, use a Hex L-wrench to turn the Hexbolt socket at the front of the base.

  • Turning to the left will raise the back of the dishwasher; turning to the right will lower it.

7. Open the door of the dishwasher, and check if both the tub and door clearances are correct.

NOTE
Samsung recommends having the dishwasher installed by a professional installer.
