PROBLEM :

1E or IE Error Code

SOLUTION :

If your dishwasher is showing a 1E or IE error code, it means water is not making it through the filter. Usually, this happens when the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher is dirty and clogged.

1E or IE Error Code

You will need to clean the filter to clear the error code. For the best cleaning performance, clean the filter at least once a month. Please perform the following the steps:

WARNING: If the dishwasher was just running, items inside may still be very hot. Open the door and allow it to cool before completing these steps. Some of the debris that is trapped in the filter may be sharp (glass, bones, plastics, etc), so please be careful when inspecting the filters.

  1. Open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom rack. This will give you access to the filter compartment door located in the center of the dishwasher.

  2. Rotate the door handle counterclockwise to unfasten the filter compartment door.

  3. Remove the filter door, and then remove the micro filter (fine filter) found underneath.

  4. Remove dirt and/or debris from the micro filter and filter door. Rinse under clean, running water.

  5. Place the micro filter back in the filter compartment. Replace filter door on top.

  6. Rotate the filter door handle clockwise to lock the filter door.

  7. Make sure to properly close the filter door. If it does not close properly, the cleaning performance will decrease.

If the code returns after the filter is cleaned, service is required.
