Dishwasher Not Draining (Does Not Drain, Water or Suds Remain Inside, Slow Drain, Clogged Filter, Clogged Drain Hose, Water Not Pumping Out, [5C, 5E, Heavy, Delicate or Quick Light Flashing])

Issue

Dishwasher Not Draining (Does Not Drain, Water or Suds Remain Inside, Slow Drain, Clogged Filter, Clogged Drain Hose, Water Not Pumping Out, [5C, 5E, Heavy, Delicate or Quick Light Flashing])

Solution

1.  Any error code?

*5C / 5E Error or Heavy or Delicate or Quick Light Flashing: Means draining slowly or not draining at all.

2.  Is it a newly installed dishwasher, how many times has it been used?

*If less than 5 times, customer needs to call installer.

3.  Is the drain filter dirty?

*Ask customer to remove and clean the drain filter

4.  Does the issue happen at the beginning or the end of the cycle?

*If it's happening at the end, it could be due to excess detergent (suds)

Avoid using too much soap, for example one pod or tablet is designed for full load only, for small load, use liquid (see Cleaning and Maintenance instructions below)

5.  Ask customer to inspect the drain hose under the sink, it could be crushed or kinked and not looped

*If  it's not looped, the remaining water in the drain hose slowly return back to the machine

6.  Please use Visual Support and if no visible issues found, then book service.
