PROBLEM :
Install Dryer Rack
SOLUTION :
If you have items you want to wash that don't normally go in the dryer, such as shoes, you can install a dryer rack to keep them from getting damaged. The item will stay on the rack instead of tumbling around the dryer's drum during a cycle. Dryer racks are an optional accessory. Some dryers come with them, but for some models, they need to be purchased separately.

To install the dryer rack in the dryer, please perform the following:
- Open the dryer door.
- Position the drying rack in the tumbler, placing the front lip of the drying rack on the top of the lint filter.
- Place the rear legs in the two recessed areas of the dryer's back wall.
- Push down the middle of the drying rack so that the legs sit securely in the notches on the back wall.
- Place the items to be dried on the rack, leaving space between them so air can circulate.

- Close the dryer door.
- Use a Time Dry cycle. Select the time according to the moisture and weight of the items.
- Start the dryer. It may be necessary to reset the timer if a longer drying time is needed.
Read the chart below to see what kinds of items you can wash on the dryer rack and the suggested settings:
