PROBLEM :

E5 Error Code

SOLUTION :

If you see an E5 error code, it means the thermistor's resistance is too high or there is an open circuit. This error code can be caused by a restricted vent system or a clogged lint filter. If you have a Flex dryer, it could be either the top or bottom thermister (for the delicate dryer or the main dryer).

Trying cleaning the vent and lint filter to see if this fixes the problem.

If the error code still appears, service is required.
