Dryer Drum Does Not Spin

Question:

What should I do if my dryer drum doesn't spin?

Answer:

  1. Turn on the dryer and select the Time Dry cycle (not another cycle).
  2. Close the door and press Start/Pause.
  3. Observe the timer on the display and confirm it counts down.
  4. If the timer changes but the drum doesn't spin, service is needed.
  5. If the timer doesn't count down, refer to the guide on Timer Does Not Count Down.
  6. Remember to keep the exhaust vent clean; it may rarely cause a no-spin situation. Clean it at least once or twice a year for safety and optimal performance.
