PROBLEM 1:
Dryer Damages Clothes
SOLUTION 1:
If your clothes are coming out ripped, torn or damaged, then please check the following:
- Check the lint screen to see if it is properly seated in the housing. If it's not seated correctly, it may be the cause of the damaged clothes.

- Remove the lint screen, and then inspect the lint screen housing for excessive lint. It may be necessary to use a flashlight to inspect it.
- You can use a vacuum with the appropriate attachment to remove lint or debris from the housing.
- Please reinstall the lint screen, and check to see if the lint screen fits properly in the housing.
Your clothes should no longer be damaged. If they are, your dryer will require service.
AGENT ONLY-
Advise the customer the lint screen MUST be cleaned before or after every use. If there was an excessive amount of lint in the lint screen housing, advise to customer to have the entire duct (vent) system inspected for lint build up. |
