Clean The Dryer's Vent

SOLUTION :

We recommend cleaning your dryer's vent once or twice a year. It is extremely important because lint can built up and make it harder for the dryer to properly dry clothes. Excessive lint can also be a fire hazard.

Here is what an uncleaned vent looks like:

Before cleaning the vent, remember to unplug the dryer's power cord. If the lint is compacted and cannot be completely removed, then the vent system should be replaced.

NOTE
Clean all old ducts before installing the dryer. To avoid lint buildup, do not exhaust the dryer directly into a window well.
