Question:
What should be done if a customer reports water
leaking from their dishwasher due to a torn or broken gasket seal?
Answer:
If a customer experiences water leakage from
their dishwasher caused by a damaged gasket seal, it is important to follow
these steps:
Collect all relevant information, including
the Brand of the Dishwasher (BOD) and complete customer contact details.
Gather as many images as possible showing the
extent of the damage and the leak.
Escalate the case to your Supervisor for further
evaluation.
Your Supervisor will then forward the case
to the appropriate department (SECA) for a thorough review.
Since Authorized Service Centers (ASCs) cannot
handle this type of repair, SECA will determine the best course of action for
resolving the customer's issue.
Terms:
ASCs - Authorized Service Centers
SECA - Specialized Engineering Case Assessment
BOD - Brand of Dishwasher
BOS - Brand of the Appliance (in this context,
it refers to the Dishwasher)
