PROBLEM 1: TV Mirroring Connects To Family Hub And Then Disconnects

SOLUTION 1:

If your TV and Family Hub keep disconnecting while you are trying to screen mirror, please perform these steps:

1. Try a power cycle. Turn off the Family Hub panel. The switch is located under a cover, inside the top of the door with the Family Hub panel on it. Unplug the TV, and wait two minutes. Turn on the Family Hub panel using the same switch from Step 1. Plug the TV back in, and powerit back on. Attempt pairing again.

2. If more than one network is "remembered" on the Family Hub, it may jump between networks when minor fluctuations in signal strength happen. Since TV mirroring requires that you stay on the same network that the TV is using, remove every other network on Family Hub.

2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi and 5 Ghz Wi-Fi are different access points and are stored as different networks on Family Hub even if they come from the same router and connect to the same network. You should not give both of these access points the same name, and only one should be remembered by Family Hub.

3. Review the Mobile Device List on the TV.

To do this, please perform these steps:

1. Navigate to Settings, select General, select External Device Manager, and then select Device Connect Manager.
   
   
2. Check the Access Notification item in the menu and whether it was set to Always on.
   
   
3. Check the Mobile Device List item in the menu and whether the [Refrigerator] Samsung was set to Allowed.
   
   
4. In the Mobile Device List, select all device list and delete it.
   
   
5. Try again if you deleted all devices.

Note: Some TV models may have a different menu configuration.

If the issue continues, service is required.
