Activate HRM on a Samsung dryer

SOLUTION 1:

Use Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM) to remotely connect to the customer��s washing machine and provide remote diagnostics to easily pinpoint their issue without having to walk them through all the steps.

Activate HRM on a Dryer

Advise the customer to touch and hold START/PAUSE and Smart Control until the PIN appears on the display.

For the FlexDry Dryer, the lower dryer must be used. However, HRM will still access information for both dryers.

HRM Functions on the Dryer

Warning: Do not start a cycle while in HRM because the cycle will stop as soon as another tab is selected.

Monitoring & Diagnosis cannot be used on a dryer. As the dryer cannot be running during HRM, all values will read as OFF, which is correct.

You can use HRM on a dryer to:

• View past error codes.
  
  
• Reset the dryer.
  
  
• Perform a software update if one is available.
