Why isn't my remote control working?

Answer:

Remote Control Does not Work

-   Ask the customer which remote they are using? Samsung remotes will have a Samsung logo on them.

-   Remove any obstruction covering the receiver on your TV

-   Check if your remote control works properly. Pressing the power button and observing the front tip of the remote control through the camera on your smartphone to see if the signal is being transmitted.

-   Replace the batteries of the remote control if you do not see any infrared signal.

-   If you are using Samsung Smart Remote, press the RETURN and EXTRA buttons simultaneously to display the pairing popup window.

-   The remote control will work more effectively if you point at the IR (infrared) receiver.

-   If the same problem continues, try using the appropriate Samsung universal remote control of your TV Model.

-   If you use an MBR (multi-brand remote) or universal remote and your remote cannot operate an external device, move the external device closer to the OC box.
