Subject: Update the firmware for audio drop issues
on NU6 models
New firmware has been released to fix issues with static audio or audio drop
outs on the NU6 series model TVs.
This firmware also corrects issues with VUDU UHD playback errors and video
freezing errors.
Let us walk you through installing the firmware so these issues can be resolved.
Update the firmware over the network
If your TV is connected to the internet, follow these steps:
- Press the Home button on your remote.
- Navigate to and select Settings (gear icon).
- Navigate to Support > Software Update > Update Now.
- Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update.
- After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart.
- Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button on your remote until
the TV turns off and back on.
- If you are still having audio issues after the firmware update and reboot
please contact us.

If your TV is not connected to the internet, follow these steps to
update the firmware:
- On your computer, download firmware version 1300.4. When downloaded it will
appear as a zipped folder named "T-KTSUAKUC".
- Extract the firmware to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in
any folders on the thumb drive.)
- Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
- Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now,
and then select Yes.
- The TV will install the update and then restart.
- Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button on your remote until
the TV turns off and back on.
