How to fix the issue of my TV being stuck in Retail/Demo mode?

If your TV is always playing an advertising video or if its settings keep reverting back to their defaults, it's probably in Retail mode or Demo mode.

This setting is used to show off at the TV at retail stores.

To make your TV operate regularly, you'll need to set it to Home mode.

These steps work for newer TV models.

If they do not match your model, see your user manual for steps to turn off Retail mode.

1.  Navigate to General settings.

Navigate to and open Settings, and then select General.

2.  Navigate to Usage Mode settings.

Select System Manager, and select Usage Mode.

3.  Set the mode to Home mode.

If required, enter a PIN. It is usually 0000. Then, select Home mode.
