Subject:  MHL device not recognized by the TV

MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) allows you to connect your devices with a cable for faster communication and charging. If your MHL device isn't working with your TV, follow these steps:

Check if your device supports MHL.

If you see "no signal" or "weak signal," it might not support MHL.

Visit http://www.mhltech.org/devices.aspx for compatible devices and adapters.

Connect your device to the MHL port on the TV.

Some Samsung TVs have only one MHL port labeled HDMI. Use your MHL to HDMI adapter to connect your device to this port.

Reconnect the MHL connection at both ends.

Unplug and plug back in the MHL adapter from the device and the TV to ensure a secure connection.

Set the TV to the right source.

Usually, the MHL port is HDMI 3, but it depends on your TV model. Change the source to match the MHL port.

Test other content from your device.

If other pictures, videos, or apps work through MHL, then the problem is with the specific app you're trying to use.

Try a different MHL cable.

If you know your device supports MHL but still doesn't work, replace the MHL cable. No service is needed; contact the device manufacturer if issues persist.
