Problem:
How to manage Internet@TV widgets?
SOLUTION:
The Widget Gallery lets you download all available Widgets to your TV, including Widgets you have previously deleted. To do this, select the Widget Gallery in the dock, and then press Enter. The Widget Gallery will display a list of menu items you can use to add Widgets to your dock.
Featured
The Featured menu item contains a list of featured Widgets. To add a Widget from the Featured list to your dock, follow these steps:
- Select Featured in the Widget Gallery.
- Use the arrows to select the desired widget, and then press Enter.
Note: If there are more than six widgets available, they will be displayed on multiple pages.
- Highlight Add Widget to My Profile at the bottom of the page, and then press Enter.
- After the widget finishes installing, the message "Install complete" will appear. You can now use your new widget.
Note: If there is another widget from the Featured list you want to add to your dock, repeat the steps above.
Latest
The Latest menu item contains a list of the latest Widgets released by Yahoo. To add a Widget from the Latest list to your dock, follow these steps:
- Select Latest in the Widget Gallery.
- Use the arrows to select the desired widget, and then press Enter.
Note: If there are more than six widgets available, they will be displayed on multiple pages.
- The next menu will describe the features of the widget. Highlight Add Widget to My Profile at the bottom of the page, and then press Enter.
- After the widget finishes installing, the message "Install complete" will appear. You can now use your new widget.
Note: If there is another widget from the Latest list you want to add to your dock, repeat the steps above.
All Widgets
The All Widgets menu item contains a list of all the widgets that have been released by Yahoo!. To add a Widget from the All Widgets list to your dock, follow these steps:
- Select All Widgets in the Widget Gallery.
- Use the arrows to select the desired widget, and then press Enter.
Note: If there are more than six widgets available, they will be displayed on multiple pages.
- The next menu will describe the features of the widget. Highlight Add Widget to My Profile at the bottom of the page, and then press Enter.
- After the widget finishes installing, the message "Install complete" will appear. You can now use your new widget.
Note: If there is another widget from the All Widgets list you want to add to your dock, repeat the steps above.
Categories
The Categories section contains all released widgets that have been categorized. To add a widget from the Categories list to your dock, follow these steps:
- Select Categories in the Widget Gallery.
- Use the arrows to select your desired category, and then press Enter.
Note: The number of widgets available in the category is displayed on the right.
- Use the arrows to select the desired widget, and then press Enter.
Note: If there are more than six Widgets available, they will be displayed on multiple pages.
- The next menu will describe the features of the widget. Highlight Add Widget to My Profile at the bottom of the page, and then press Enter.
- After the widget finishes installing, the message "Install complete" will appear. You can now use your new widget.
Note: If there is another widget from the Categories list you want to add to your dock, repeat the steps above.
Delete a widget
To delete a widget from your profile, follow these steps:
- With your TV turned on, open the Internet@TV snippet bar.
- Select the widget you would like to delete.
- Press the yellow button on your remote. A small pop-up menu will appear above the widget.
- Press the red button to delete the widget. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Confirm the permanent deletion of the widget by pressing the red button again.
Note: The widget will be removed from your profile, but you can always download the widget again from the gallery.
