The Yahoo! Finance Widget allows you to view stock information (delayed by up to 20 minutes) and see market summaries for multiple markets and stocks of your choosing. To access this information, select the Finance Widget from your Snippet Dock, and then press Enter.

Remove a stock symbol

The Finance Widget comes preset with a few stock symbols. To remove one of these stock symbols or remove a stock symbol you have added, follow these steps:

1. Press the green button on your remote. You can also use the arrow buttons on your remote to highlight the green button at the bottom of the Finance Widget, and then press Enter.
   
   
2. Use the down arrow to highlight the stock symbol you would like to remove.
   
   Note: If you have more than five stock symbols on your list, the Finance Widget will display them on multiple pages. If the stock symbol you want to remove is not on the first page, you must go to the page containing the symbol you want to remove.
   
   
3. Press Enter.
   
   
4. On the verification pop-up, highlight Delete, and then press Enter.

Add a stock symbol

In the Finance Widget, you can add a stock symbol to your list. To add a new stock symbol to your list, follow these steps:

1. Press the green button on your remote. You can also use the arrow buttons on your remote to highlight the green button at the bottom of the Finance Widget, and then press Enter.
   
   
2. Use the down arrow to highlight Add New Symbol, and press Enter.
   
   Important : If you have more than five stock symbols on your list, the Widget will display them on multiple pages.
   
   
3. The virtual keyboard will appear in the menu. Using the keyboard, enter the name of the company you would like to add.
   
   Note: As you enter the name of the company, the Widget may populate the list with the name of the company.
   
   
4. When the company you want is displayed, use the up arrow to highlight the company and then press Enter.
   
   
5. Select Add Symbol, and then press Enter.

Add your favorite stock symbols to the Snippet Dock

You can add some or all of your favorite stock symbols information to the Snippet Dock. This will allow you to see the information without opening the Finance Widget.

Note: If you have added multiple stock symbols, you must scroll through them on the Snippet Dock.

To add stock information to the Snippet Dock, follow these steps:

1. On the Finance Widget, highlight the stock symbol containing the information you would like displayed, and then press Enter.
   
   Note: If you only have one stock symbol in your list, you do not need to perform Step 1.
   
   
2. The Widget will display the current status of the stock and the stock performance over time (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and bi-yearly). Press the yellow button on your remote. Alternatively, you can use the arrow buttons to select the yellow button on the bottom of the on-screen menu.
   
   
3. Highlight Add Snippet and then press Enter.
   
   
4. The information will be added to your Dock.

Remove location information from the Snippet Dock

If you want to remove a stock symbol information from the Snippet Dock, follow these steps:

1. Highlight the stock symbol containing the information you would like to remove, and then press Enter.
   
   Note: If you only have one stock symbol in your list, you do not need to perform Step 1.
   
   
2. The current status of the stock and the stock performance over time (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and bi-yearly) will appear. Press the yellow button on your remote or use the arrow buttons to select the yellow button on the bottom of the on-screen menu.
   
   
3. Select Delete Snippet. Press Enter.
   
   
4. The information will be removed.

Display information as Values or Percentages

If you want your Finance Widget to display your stock symbols as values or percentages, follow these steps:

1. Press the green button on your remote or use the arrow buttons to select the green button on the bottom of the on-screen menu.
   
   
2. Select Display Units As, and then press Enter.
   
   Note: The current mode is displayed on the right.
   
   
3. The mode switches between Values and Percentages each time you press the Enter button.

Import stock symbols from Yahoo!

If you have a Yahoo! Account with stock symbols already set up in Yahoo! Finance, you can import them into the Finance Widget on your TV. To import these stocks, follow these steps:

1. Press the green button on your remote or use the arrow buttons to select the green button on the bottom of the on-screen menu.Select Import Symbols From Yahoo! and then press Enter.
   
   
2. A pop-up will appear, asking if you would like to Merge or Replace the stock symbols in the Yahoo! Finance Widget.
   
   Note: If you select Merge, the current stock symbols in the Finance Widget will remain and the stock symbols from your Yahoo! Account will be added to them. If you select Replace, the current stock symbols in the Finance Widget will be deleted and replaced with the stock symbols from your Yahoo! account.
   
   
3. Highlight Merge or Replace, and then press Enter.
   
   
4. If you are not logged into your Yahoo! account, you will be asked to enter your Yahoo! ID and password.
   
   
5. After your stocks download, your Yahoo! Finance Widget will mirror the stock symbol choices in your Yahoo Account.
   
   Note: The Finance Widget will download all the stock symbols in your Yahoo! Finance account. However, it does not arrange the stocks in portfolios, and does not allow you to arrange the stocks in portfolios.
