Web Browser on your Samsung TV

Problem:

How to use the web browser on a 2011 Samsung TV?

Answer:

Access the web browser on your 2011 Samsung TV by navigating to the SmartHub.

Understand that this built-in browser supports HTML, but not all websites due to its limited capabilities.

Be aware that some sites might take longer to load or cause slow response times from the remote.

Use the contextual buttons on the browser's bottom bar for various actions:

Favorites: Display and manage saved favorite websites.

Refresh/Stop: Update the current page or stop loading it.

Tab Select: Switch between open tabs.

Search: Perform a search using a chosen keyword.

URL: Input or edit website addresses.

Pointer Mode: Toggle between pointer (arrow key control) and tab browsing modes.

Utilize Reading Tools for adjusting zoom levels and fitting content to the screen.

Manage settings and preferences through the Options menu, including deleting history and adding favorites.

Return to the SmartHub by pressing the Return button.

Terms:

Active X Elements - A type of software component used for web applications; not supported by the Samsung TV web browser.
