PROBLEM :

Netflix error message on TV app

 

SOLUTION

-AGENT ONLY-

The error message "Netflix Error Message (Preparing TV ... Please try again later)" may appear if the Netflix app requires an update.

  1. Navigate to Menu, select Network, and then select Network Status to check your internet connection.

  2. Next, select IP Setting and change the DNS Setting to Enter manually.

  3. Select OK.

  4. Reboot the TV once the above steps are complete.

 

Escalate the issue with the following documented in the file:

  • TV firmware version
  • Netflix error (preparing TV)
  • Confirm that all other apps are working correctly
  • DNS is set to 8.8.8.8

Advise the customer to wait until the Netflix app is updated.
