Perform a Factory Reset on the TV

Problem :

Perform a Factory Reset on the TV

Solution :

a) Ensure all other troubleshooting steps have been completed before proceeding.

b) Understand that a factory reset resets all settings to default values, including picture/sound settings, channel menus, clock/timer settings, and any other customizations.

c) Check connected devices' settings and confirm proper cable connections.

d) Perform a soft reset by unplugging the TV and reinserting the plug.

e) Use the Picture Settings Reset function to reset picture settings if issue is related to picture.

f) Test if the problem occurs across multiple inputs.

g) If issue is on one input, test another device to determine if the problem lies with the device or the TV. Contact the device manufacturer for support if the problem is with the device.

h) To perform a factory reset, press and hold EXIT on the remote for 10 seconds, read the warning message, select OK, and press ENTER.

i) After the reset, the TV will turn off and display the Plug & Play screen when powered back on.

j) If the issue persists after the factory reset, contact Samsung Support for service.
