PROBLEM :

Use the BD Wise feature on the TV

SOLUTION :

The BD Wise feature is used when connecting an external device (that also has the BD feature) to the TV with an HDMI cable. Before the external device sends a video signal, the BD Wise feature will make the two devices communicate to determine the highest resolution that can be used to play content. It will also determine which video scaler will be used by either the external device or TV.

Note: This feature may cause the TV to time out or stop. If this happens, the TV may display "Mode not Supported" or there may be no picture. If this occurs, turn off BD Wise or replace your HDMI cable.

The default setting for this feature is On. To change this setting, follow these steps:

1. With the TV turned on, press the MENU button.
   
   
2. Use the directional buttons to select the Setup section of the Main Menu, and then press ENTER.
   
   
3. Use the directional buttons to select BD Wise, and then press ENTER.
   
   
4. Select On or Off, and then press ENTER.
   
   
5. Press EXIT to leave the menu.
