TV cannot be controlled by the STB remote control

 Background/Cause/Solution:

Source/Universal remote is feature to set up your Samsung remote as a universal remote for easy control of all your devices.

However some consumers misunderstand that the remote of external device control the TV

 Solution:

Please explain that Samsung Source/Universal remote is feature to set up your Samsung remote as a universal remote.

If user want to use the remote of external device(STB/HTS/Others) as a universal remote,  please guide user to contact their device vendor.

Some of them, support the universal remote feature on their device.

• How to use Universal remote
• Support MBR Device Type : STB, OTT, BD, HTS
• IME Search Input spec : Two letter over.
• "Pi" is example,  Input first  brand letter must have over 2letter.  
• (Pioneer ->Pixxxxx)

 1) Connect Internet

2) Select Device and Brand on the IME input

For example : HTS and put "Pi(Pioneer)" on the IME input

3) Select Special brand from the options listed below (Select View more Brand_online brand search)

4) Test power up down test and model search
