Soundbar will not pair to the TV using SoundConnect (SoundShare)

Question:

Why isn't my soundbar connecting to my TV through SoundConnect (SoundShare)?

Answer:

SoundConnect (SoundShare) uses Bluetooth technology to connect your soundbar to your TV. If the connection fails, first verify that your TV's settings are correctly configured. Follow these steps:

Go to the TV's Settings menu.

Navigate to Sound > Speaker Settings.

Choose 'TV SoundConnect' and enable 'Add New Device'.

Set the preferred speaker settings to use 'TV SoundConnect (SoundShare)'. Note: This may be found under Sound or Audio options.

Reset your soundbar by turning it off and pressing the STOP button until it shows "INIT OK".

Turn on the soundbar and retry pairing it with the TV.

If the issue persists, perform additional tests:

a. Pair your TV with another Bluetooth device to see if your TV needs servicing.

b. Pair your soundbar with another Bluetooth device to see if the soundbar needs servicing.
