Picture-in-Picture on the TV

Problem:

How to use Picture-in-Picture (PIP) on the TV?

Solution:

The PIP (Picture-In-Picture) feature is only available when you are on the Component, HDMI, or PC source, and you have performed a channel scan. Otherwise, it will be grayed out.

The PIP feature is a single tuner PIP. This means that the TV can only decode one cable or air signal for the sub-screen window. The main picture window must be a signal from a component, HDMI, or PC source.

If you would like to watch two different cable broadcasts, then you must have a set-top-box and a coax cable connection or antenna.

You can adjust the following in the PIP menu:

  • PIP (Off/On): You can activate or deactivate the PIP function.

  • Air/Cable: Select either the Air or Cable as the input source for the sub-screen.

  • Channel: Use this to adjust the channel of the sub-screen.

  • Size: Adjust the size of the sub-screen.

  • Position: Select the position for the sub-screen.

  • Sound Select (Main/Sub): Swap the audio between the sub-screen and main screen.
