PROBLEM :
DLNA certified TVs
SOLUTION :
DLNA stands for the Digital Living Network Alliance. This alliance is a world-wide collection of electronic, computer, and mobile device companies striving to make products that connect to and communicate with each other and share digital media easily.
Samsung DLNA certified TVs can access and display or play certain digital content located on your computer.
In addition to a Samsung DLNA certified TV, you will need the following to take advantage of capability:
- A computer with Samsung PC Share Manager installed on it. You can also download Samsung PC Share Manager from Samsung Download Center.
- Media files that are supported by PC Share Manager on your PC.
- A wired home network.
Use DLNA
- Connect your television to your home network via the Ethernet port on the television.
- Install and open PC Share Manager on your computer.
- Next, press the MEDIA P button on your TV remote. Or, select Media Play in the apps menu on your TV.
- Use the directional buttons on your remote to select the media files you want to access on your computer.
- PC Share Manager will then access and stream the files to your TV.
- Press the Exit button to exit when you are finished.
