Problem:

TV and Wireless Audio Dock Pairing Guide

Solution:

Applicable models: Wireless audio with dock model (DA-E6** and DA-E7**)

If SoundShare on the dock speaker does not work, the TV may not support this feature or the TV requires a firmware update.

Review the information below to complete the setup.

Update the firmware via an internet connection

1. Turn on the TV, and then press the Menu button on the remote control.
   
   
2. Select Support, and then select Software Update.
   
   
3. Select Online to update the firmware via an internet connection.

Update the firmware via USB drive

1. Navigate to http://www.samsung.com to download the applicable TV model firmware to your USB Drive.
   
   
2. Turn on the TV.
   
   
3. Insert the USB drive containing the firmware into the USB port on the TV.
   
   
4. Press the Menu button on the remote control.
   
   
5. Select Support, and then select Software Upgrade.
   
   
6. The TV will begin scanning for the USB drive, and the update will begin.
   
   
7. When the update is complete, the TV will turn off and then turn back on.

Connect the TV to the Wireless Audio Dock

1. Turn on the TV and then turn on the Wireless Audio Dock.
   
   
2. On the TV, navigate to Menu, select System, and then select Device Manager.
   
   
3. Select SoundShare Settings, select Add New Device, and then turn the feature On.
   
   
4. Switch the function of the Wireless Audio Dock to TV mode.
   
   
5. Select Yes when asked to proceed with the Bluetooth connection.
