Symptom:

When using USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (USB-C to HDMI) for MacBook, NO SIGNAL issue occurs under certain Power Off/On conditions.

• Connection:  MacBook > Apple Genuine Adapter (USB-C to HDMI) > TV
• Condition:  MacBook sleep mode > TV AC off (Plug off) > MacBook wake up > TV AC on (Plug on) > No signal issue occurs.

Cause:

No TMDS (Video/Audio signal) output from HDMI2.0 Apple Genuine Adapter when HDMI HDP toggle.

Solution:

Please guide customer to re-connect MacBook and Adapter after disconnection.
