Question:

Why am I unable to use Smart Hub apps on my Samsung TV and how can I fix it?

Answer:

Symptom

-  Unable to use apps from Samsung TV Smart Hub Home (ex) Netflix ,YouTube Only able to use external inputs such as HDMI, and antenna tuners.

Cause

- Starting with 2023 Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Monitors, a Samsung account registration is required to use Smart Hub apps, services, and functions. If you skipped the Samsung account login and Samsung Terms and Conditions when setting up your Samsung Smart TV for the first time, your TV will not be able to use Smart Hub apps.

Solution

1) To solve this issue, user must log in to the Samsung account and agree to the Terms and Conditions on your Smart TV. Explain the benefits of using your Samsung account and ask the user to log in to Samsung account.

2)  If the customer strongly refuses to sign in to a Samsung account, 'Samsung account disable' function can be executed through RM. When this function is executed, the smart function can be used even though the Samsung account is not signed in during initial setup.
