Question
Pop-up saying that the update is not possible
due to insufficient internal storage capacity. What should I do?
Answer
- If the internal storage capacity is insufficient,
free space is required. Please refer to the guide below. The capacity of
the Family Hub's internal storage is insufficient and cannot be updated.
Move photos from the gallery to external storage to free up space.
- After making room, you can update using
the Settings > Family Hub Information > SW Update menu.
Please follow the guide below to backup photos in gallery.
- Please connect a USB memory stick with one
or more picture files to the USB port on the top of right side door of the refrigerator.
(Depending on your refrigerator model, there may be no USB port).
- If you see a folder named "USB"
in the album list of the gallery app, the backup is ready.
- After selecting the photos you want to back
up from the photos in this folder, click "Go to Album" on the right
side menu. You can select "USB" from the pop-up menu that appears and back up/move.
If a problem occurs during the backup process, you can reset the device using
Settings > Family Hub Info > Initialize the entire device. (Caution!
If you proceed with initialization, all photos and personal data will be deleted).
