What should I do if the consumer does not want to update the software?

 

Answer

  • If you do not want to update the software, press the "Cancel" button when the update pop-up is displayed and the update will not proceed. After that, if you want to update, you can update through the S/W update button in "Settings" > "Refrigerator Information" menu.
  • The update pop-up will be displayed again when the LCD is rebooted after pressing the "Cancel" button for the first time. Since the Family Hub LCD has a Silent Reboot function, it automatically restarts one week after the LCD is booted up when the consumer has not operated the LCD. Therefore, the Family Hub update pop-up will be displayed once a week.
  • Continuous software maintenance and additional updates are provided based on the latest S/W. (Market VOC correction and provision of improved functional/performance S/W) If you do not update the S/W, you cannot use the upgraded S/W. Therefore, it is recommended to update for enhanced S/W use.
