Freezer Not Cooling (freezer compartment not cold, freezer section warm, not cooling properly)

Solution

When the freezer is not cooling, ask Customer of the following:

1) Is the freezer section not cooling properly or not cooling at all?

* If not cooling at all and no error code, book a service call and meanwhile ask the customer to unplug the fridge for an hour and plug it back to see if it starts working.

* If not cooling properly, check if the temperature is set to 0 degrees F or -18 degrees C.

2) Is there an error code on the display?

* If your display reads "O-FF" ("OF or OFF"), your fridge is in Cooling Off Mode, also known as Demo Mode or Shop Mode (refer to the user manual).

* 71C Error means Abnormal High Temperature in Freezer Error.

* 21C Error means Freezer Fan Motor Error.

3) Is the door closing properly?

* If the door doesn't close properly, cold air from the freezer will escape and a lot of condensation will form.

* Ask customer to check if anything fell down to the bottom of the freezer, preventing the door from closing.
